CLO

Because I ran into several technical issues when attempting to import the clothing I made in VStitcher into Unreal Engine, I had to add CLO as an intermediary step. CLO was chosen because there were many online resources that used CLO successfully for this process and because the patterns I first made in VStitcher could be imported into CLO. Some patterns did not import correctly. After the patterns were fixed, I re-assigned the fabrics and re-colored, re-stitched, and re-draped the pattern pieces on my avatar.
